Initial Consultation Only

45-60 minute comprehensive holistic review and Chinese medicine assessment of medical history and present symptoms

Required for new patients to establish patient doctor relationship.   

  • Eastern medicine pulse and tongue diagnosis, systems diagnosis.

  • Palpation assessment of fascia and orthopedic testing as necessary.

  • Review of medical labs and prescriptions and discussion of herbal alternatives. 

  • Formulation of treatment plan and strategy. 

  • Required for treatments or herbal prescriptions

Active Treatment Session 

60 minute treatment session.  Includes acupuncture, cupping, herbal consultation, prescription and fascia therapy with Fascia Manipulation® (FM).  (Cost of herbs are separate)​

  • Each session contains assessment and treatment according to TCM combined with Stecco Method's protocol and strategy

  • Chinese medicine holistic diagnosis: with pulse and tongue analysis, channel palpation and assessment, and present symptoms review.  

  • Moxibustion, e-stim, trigger point therapy, cupping, tui-na/gua-sha may be applied during session as needed.

  • FM techniques are applied where appropriate for myofascial pain syndromes due to fascia dysfunction

  • Assessment with FMID® - internal pathologies related to fascia dysfunction

  • Preventative treatment for sports performance optimization and injury prevention.

Additional Treatments 

We offer additional services as add-on to standard session or on a stand alone basis.  20 min of the following choices:

  • Fire cupping

  • Guasha

  • Tuina with essential oil (neck, shoulders, back)

  • Facial acupuncture

  • Fascia manual therapy

  • Fascia release cupping therapy

  • Moxibustion only

  • Herbal consultation only

Treatment Plans

After your initial consultation, your acupuncturist will recommend a plan according to your condition and chief complaint.  The plan will vary in frequency and duration depending on if the symptoms are acute or chronic, and what is the best strategy to create a shift to improve present symptoms.

30 minute herbal consultation session and prescription.  Cost of herbs are separate.
